Our Hard Work Pays Off! Markey WINS!

Last night was the best for all Massachusetts Democrats, but especially for Lawrence for Ed Markey. Our hard work - canvassing, phone banking, and participation in visibility and other events - definitely paid off with the election of Ed Markey as the Junior Senator from Massachusetts.

Now we have two great people who will fight for us and also for everyone in the country.

A number of us from Lawrence made the trip to the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston to wait for the results of the election. We also had the chance to meet new people and to get re-acquainted with old friends.
